I heard bits of the new go-gos, though, and it sounded pretty fun. i definitely want to get that album. >>Matt tried to pick me up after a Rentals show one night, I think. Weird. For many, many reasons.<< Lucky you. i take it you declined? shame on you. ;) love the Rentals. They should put out a new record. anyone know what up with them? i never got to see them. they were supposed to open for alanis in 95 and they cancelled. i was sad! :( steve ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 20 May 2001 22:51:44 EDT From: LULU428@aol.com Subject: shelved demo track listing I was making a friend of mine some of the liz bootleg cd's I have attained through this wonderful list of ours- and realized that the track listing I have of the shelved demos/studio recordings is way different than what songs are actually on my cd's. So I went to the mesmerizing site to check and the track listing there is the one I already have (and must have originally copied from)- but its wrong according to what is on my cd. Does anyone know the deal? why the track listing is completely different then the songs? was this covered already like 3 years ago when we all so graciously purchased this thing? i can't seem to remember. so anyway, if anyone knows, please let me know! thanks- Lani ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 20 May 2001 23:24:28 -0400 From: Jason Long Subject: Re: shelved demo track listing At 10:51 PM 5/20/01 -0400, Lani wrote: >I was making a friend of mine some of the liz bootleg cd's I have attained >through this wonderful list of ours- and realized that the track listing I >have of the shelved demos/studio recordings is way different than what songs >are actually on my cd's. >So I went to the mesmerizing site to check and the track listing there is the >one I already have (and must have originally copied from)- but its wrong >according to what is on my cd. The '96 Shelved Demos/Studio Recordings are what's notated on Ken's site, I believe, and is the tape I got ahold of and distributed on the list early in '97. The tapes we helped Ken purchase are different and were the ones distributed on CD, and I'm guessing those are the ones you need the track list for. If so, it should be as follows: DISC ONE - -1996 Studio Recordings- Oh My God Headache Desperado Theme Ride Hurricane Cindy Rocket Boy Perfect World Fantasize Russian Girl Stuck on an Island Tell Me You Like Me Girls' Room I'm Like That Waiting for the Bird (White Bird of Texas) Freak of Nature - -1997 Studio Recordings- White Chocolate Space Egg Big Tall Man Tell Me You Like Me What Makes You Happy Bars of the Bed Blood Keeper What Makes You Happy Big Tall Man - -1998 whitechocolatespaceegg Rough Mixes- Johnny Feelgood What Makes You Happy DISC TWO - -1997 whitechocolatespaceegg Running Order- White Chocolate Space Egg Fantasize Headache Big Tall Man Baby Got Going Only Son Bars of the Bed Oh My God Ride Waiting for the Bird Perfect World Desperado Theme Tell Me You Like Me What Makes You Happy Freak of Nature Girls' Room Russian Girl - -Bonus Tracks- Blood Keeper Greased Lightning Hurricane Cindy If these turn out to be different from what you have, e-mail me back and I'll try to help you figure out what else they might be. Cheers, Jase P.S. For everyone who's awaiting word on the Phairities distribution, I'm sorry, I've just been busy this past week. I'll try to send out an e-mail in the next couple of days. ------------------------------ End of support-system-digest V4 #136 ************************************
