I thought she made it up first as well but someone told me in turned up in that movie "Colors" which i saw a long time ago but remember nothing about. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 1 May 2001 04:00:58 -0400 From: rickilake@juno.com Subject: Divorce, Music Changes and Michael Penn I stop reading for a week and all sorts of things happen... Elle Article - What else did you expect from a fashion magazine? Wade in ankle deep and talk about shopping. Divorce - I don't think a return to being single will change Liz back into EIG Liz, but maybe it could bring back some darker, hard edged songs. I see where you all are coming from with the new songs matching up to possible relationship trouble. Then again, sometimes songs are more like an imaginary flower from a small seed of a real idea. Michael Penn - eh? I like what songwriting I have heard of his, but I tend to associate him with 80's/Adult Contemporary/Easy Listening. Can anyone tell me what his last album sounded like? I truly wish Liz would do it all herself. I could see her now even typing the liner notes with an unlit cigarette in her mouth. That way we could avoid Ginz's deep cycle of Studio production insanity. (hi Ginz:) ) Bull story - Liz didn't write it, it's an old story/joke. Don't know exactly where it came from, but I imagine it's american at least. My story - I kept all my Expensive records in my bottom drawer with bathing suits, mittens, scarves, etc. I went home last weekend and found the whole dresser empty. My dear mother had packed it all in a box and left it in the hallway. She hasn't seen the box since. I almost ripped the banister off the staircase when I realized I was missing my 2 copies of Carnivore. ( first and second pressings of course) If anyone out there talks to Miss Cleo, please ask her where they are. Thanks. - ---melissa Shephe rd Shot Dead, Sheep Blamed ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
