Indeed it is -- I love Daniel's interview with Stephin about all the different songs. Really interesting stuff. (and psssst, the layout of that booklet was done by a good friend of mine, who does guest vocals on a number of the songs, including the heartbreaking "all my little words") Catherine. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 6 Mar 2001 16:40:31 EST From: KiTkAtE907@aol.com Subject: blake babies Hey guys. Did anyone get the new Blake babies cd? if you haven't, I recommend it...I went to HMV and they only had one copy of it (it just came out today), so try to get it while it's still fresh on the market. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 06 Mar 2001 17:53:05 -0800 From: marzchik@mobile.att.net (Erin Cashel) Subject: Liz In A Commercial! Ok, I am positively giddy right now! I was sitting down doing homework and watching Buffy (Yes, I confess, i'm a fan...) when this commercial comes on, this young guy is walking into a theatre and he sits down, he's obviously some type of director, and on the stage is a bunch of people. The first thing he says is something like, "I'd like to start with you Liz, Polyester Bride on track number 1." It was a commercial for a mac cd burner or something and this guy is making a compo tape. Liz looked super-hot in red pants and a sexy top! I am soooo thrilled right now, I wasn't expecting anything when the commercial came on, but when I saw Liz I nearly wet myself. Ok, sorry to ramble, but I'm a little excited:) Erin ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 6 Mar 2001 22:38:17 -0500 From: "bethany" Subject: Re: Liz In A Commercial! Ahh...I saw that too. I got way too excited. My mom was scared. It happened the other night when I was watching some show on Fox and they played Seether by Veruca Salt. It doesn't take much to make me happy, I guess. So so Buffy obsessed, :) Bethany Willow: We can come by between classes. Usually I use that time to copy over my class notes with a system of differently colored pens. But it's been pointed out to me that that's, you know, insane. She's on a stage with a bunch of other artists (George Clinton, Smashmouth, Barry White, ... can't remember the others), and a 'regular guy' is in the audience designing his custom CD by requesting songs from them. His first request is, "Liz, I think we'll start off with Polyester Bride." Then she says (sexily), "Anything for you, Steve." Or something like that. Anyway, it's cool. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 6 Mar 2001 20:24:26 -0800 (PST) From: Steven Furlow Subject: Re: blake babies I know it is off topic, but I must agree. I got an advance copy a couple of weeks ago, and it has not left my cd player yet. I also saw the babies play in Bloomington last weekend, and it was amazing. If they come anywhere near you, go see them. Other than that, I am watching TV non-stop in the hopes of seeing Liz. What a spring break huh? Steven - --- KiTkAtE907@aol.com wrote: > Hey guys. Liz was just on TV. A Mac commercial where some kid is picking artists to burn onto a CD. There are all these people on this stage in a theater (Liz, Barry White, Ziggy Marley, Smash Mouth, etc) and as the kid decides what track to burn he talks to the artist. Liz is the first track/artist he picks... Does this make any sense? I have this on tape so I'll have to watch it again. Just a heads up...be on the lookout for Mac commercials bearing Liz in a red dress. Peace all, tedford Get email at your own domain with Yahoo! I don't know where the hell that came from. Her one speaking line: "Sure...for you." Not much, but it's always lovely to hear her voice. Now if she'd just put out a record, she wouldn't have to hock PC's...Just a thought. tedford Get email at your own domain with Yahoo!
