I am convinced that even though many of us may hold "things Liz" sacred..it doesn't hold up in a free enterprise economy..Ebay is a huge (and sometimes dangerous) market that invites barkers and fraud..How does it exist? People buy the shit! I have had some luck with other artists..but it is definitely "caveat emptor" - consumer beware.. the entire way..Recently, I got PJ Harvey - U2 tickets that were 50% off the going price..even though they are inflated to begin with! I got the aforementioned VHS of Liz in concert..I am sure that the quality varies, according to the numbered copy you get! But, as amateurish as it was..I thought it was worth it..since I saw the same show in LA..I would prefer gaining access in a more sort of, "honest" marketplace..but, capitalism has no soul! I would never buy a CD from the moron you've mentioned..and thought your "contest" to name the songs correctly was hilarious. Waiting for the new album! Ive just moved to Melbourne for Uni and on Sunday I heard some buskers playing Polyester Bride! I got really excited and started asking them a few questions once theyd finished and anyway, I asked the guitarist if she wanted to be in my yet-to-be-formed band and she said she did so I got even more excited! Ive never heard any buskers play any Liz songs! By the way, does anyone here know where the good (i.e. stock Liz) cd shops are in Melbourne?
