If someone still needs a copy, I found one going used $4.99 in a store near where I live. If this sounds good to you, send me an email, and we'll work something out. - -Tim ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 27 Jan 2001 03:34:51 -0500 From: Dan Subject: Johnny are you queer? Hey.. FOr all you "Johnny Are YOu Queer" enthusiasts out there - for a little fun note to the song - there is a version by the GO-GO's out there - it's an early early live recordin by the band and can be find on the incredible double CD "Return to the Valley of the Go-Go's" which is a must for any go-go fan. You know..this may sound strange - but I have always drew a BIG BIG comparrison to the Go-Go's and Sleater-Kinney. NOt so much songs like "Our Lips are Sealed" and "We Got the Beat" - but in early songs, when they were punkers and would scream..and songs like "TURN TO YOU" could EASILY be a Sleater-Kinney song. I could TOTALLY here Belinda and the girls doing a great cover of "One More Hour" as well - and I think they'd do a good job.. at any rate.. dats dat...
