Well, I think the original question was "musically" speaking what are your favorites, and my list certainly changes for just overall "favorites." So I'll go again: GS: If I Ever Pay You Back EIG: 6-1 (the first one i ever heard has such a special place with me) WS: Jealousy WCSE: Polyester Bride WCSE demos: Blood Keeper Boy, this list feels so empty. There are so many favorites... paige- ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 30 Dec 2000 02:48:33 -0500 (EST) From: steve the dyke-tyke Subject: juliana hatfield mystery album.... Ok, so i knew about the God's Foot album (the one that was supposed to come out after Only Everything...record label kept buggin her, she put out Please Do Not Disturb, they kept buggin, she got really pissed, fucked God's Foot--oh, doesn't THAT sound nice, sorry--and recorded Bed in a few weeks and released that.) or at least that's what i remember hearing; it could totally be wrong. Anyways...well...my parents got a new kickass computer and a cd burner (i am spoiling myself for the few days im at there house, let me tell you!), and i found the entire God's Foot album on napster...it's pretty low quality sound, but it still transferred rather nicely to CD-R. I feel kinda guilty about having this when im not supposed to...does anyone know what her personal stance on people getting their hands on this album??? i don't think i've ever heard her actually talk about the album. any input would be appreciated, juliana fans.... anyways, i actually think it's one of her best works!!! i have been listening to it non-stop and it's kicking my ass. i also put together a cd collection of all the live covers she does...i love her live covers. the last time i saw her she did a dot allison cover, a donnas cover, as well as a song by the cars. ok i'm juliana rambling. i can't help it. OH! i also put together some kickass throwing muses cd's from back in the day!!!!!! i am in heaven!!! i got the stand up EP, an early radio broadcast, and a bunch of early live shows!!! OK, TM Fans - this elaine girl...i'm not even going to attempt her last name...the one who sings on "dirt is on the floor". she was in the first version of TM? (i understnad they had a differnet drumemr too? becca blume or something?). i have never even heard of either of them until i visited that kickass beestung website w/ all the rare mp3s. anyways elaine..does anyone know if she did anything after TM?? i'd totally like to check out other stuff by her, if there is any. ok, i'll totally shut up now. everyone have a safe new year :) steve, who had a very happy holiday indeed! ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 30 Dec 2000 03:19:30 -0500 From: "J.J. Cooper" Subject: Need a little help please Hey y'all, longtime lurker here with a humble request, I'm one song (Never Said) away from having the Avalon concert (10-6-98) complete.....does anyone have the full version of that song, and if you do would you mind sending it to me or helping me get a way to get it....It would be much appreciated. On napster the only version floating around seems to be a partial version (clocks in at around 700k). Also, it's time for me to give back to the list....I accidently burned a copy of Girlysounds Disc 2 backwards (i.e. Combo Platter is the first song, Hello Sailor is bringing up the rear)....anyone want it (obviously first dibs to someone with never said from avalon). Along those lines, Jason helped my collection out immensely when my Liz stuff = nothing...To continue the tradition, for 3 people whose Liz live CD collection = zip, e-mail me and I'll send ya a Liz live cd free except for postage....
