In the book, the narrator grew up in Iowa (I think). Camden Joy grew up in L.A. In the book, Liz Phair is the daughter of ex-Rolling Stones guitarist... aw, crap I forget his name.. Anyway, it's a really cool book without any factual information.. sometimes I think it is a better description of Liz as rock star than her music is. Hmm! ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 15 Nov 2000 05:57:01 -0500 From: Jason Long Subject: Bounced message From: AWeiss4338@aol.com Subject: Re: Liz In A Book... Somehow I don't think this is a book I want to read, Liz content or not. If the author really does spend that much much time obsessing about who Liz is, and yes this is insulting, it sounds like a lot of navel gazing to me, and I hate that. Hey, I was checking out the Onion and they interview Aimee Mann this week. I haven't kept up with what she says in interviews but it seems laid back enough that there might be some new stuff in it for you diehards. http://avclub.theonion.com/index.html enjoy, Gabe __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Okay, so this is *2* hours now, 1 per night, that I've wasted watching for Liz on VH1's new Top 100 thing. No Liz yet. Or did I just miss her? I was kinda thinking she'd turn up on the Stones segment, or maybe Hole's, but no such luck. Way to subvert my expectations, VH1. And let me just say, Richie Sambora's hair must die, and Kid Rock needs to... stop appearing 5 times in each segment? Any idiot could say the stuff he's saying. Bah. Oh, and Lita Ford looks good. Katie, you didn't know that "Chopsticks" is somewhat of a non-Liz-original, musically speaking? Egad! There are no known tabs for those Girlysound songs y'all have been mentioning, and that's a damn shame. Ray Lew, get to work. Quit your job at Capitol if you have to. We want tabs. Take it sleazy, E __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
