I love 'Sometimes a dream...' but it borrows heavily from Jesus and Mary Chain which could be why she's held back on it. I definitely prefer albums to concerts (not that I'd put in a Phair CD instead of seeing her that night but if I had to choose one, I'd rather a new CD by her than to see her live). I'm also not a big fan of huge concerts so I think that once you get to be as big as the Beatles (if that can ever happen again), then you should stay in the studio. Touring is one of the best parts, and the biggest thrills. I get so excited seeing my favorite artists perform live. I also try to meet them and sneak my way backstage! ;) That part is also very fun. Seeing Liz live twice was just so wonderful, and it makes you appreciate the music much more. And on the touring note, I am seeing Aimee Mann this Saturday in Cleveland. I am SO excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is in a smaller venue, so I am hoping to meet her (fingers crossed). Wow, it is going to be so great. Oh- someone posted this the other day- Juliana will be at the show too!
