[Emo5858@aol.com] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sun, 08 Oct 2000 11:30:52 -0400 From: Dan Subject: Parker Posey My all time favorite Parker Posey movie is "WAITING FOR GUFFMAN". If anyone has not seen this movie - it is by far the most hysterical movie of the 90's, in my opinion. It has a bunch of Canadian comedians Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, Chris Guest - it is sooo funny! Parker Posey has the coolest role in it. Anyway, just thought I would add my 2 cents. It's amazing how much Liz Phans have in common. I mean, Parker Posey is my favorite actress too - along with Juliette Lewis. Weird that soo many people love her on here :) and I must admit - THE HOUSE OF YES is one of the FUNNIEST, disturbing and hilarious movies ever. The whole scene with Parker and Tori Spelling is toooo good...where she's asking Tori about how it is to screw her brother and stuff... "Just pretend he's not my brother, that's what I do." - i love her attitude!!! Too much. Anyway folks.. has anyone seen the new BJORK movie yet?? I know it opened in quite a few cities (OF COURSE, WIndsor didn't fucking get it yet - we open up a theater that houses the biggest screen in CANADA, aside from IMAX - and we don't get the fucking BJork movie!) but either way - I'd die to hear the goods on that one. later peoples, Dan. %&%&%&%&%%%%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&% "You leave with everything...." -Hole. *******************************^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^* ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 8 Oct 2000 14:48:01 -0700 (PDT) From: Kelly Scofield Subject: songs... (have I told you - -ever- for that matter? but I do) Waiting For Guffman is such a great film! Parkey Posey is a whimsical talent, she even brought humour to Clockwatchers. As for Bjork's new one, Dancer in the Dark, I am super-stoked to see it! It opened in Philly this weekend, but I couldn't go...I WILL see it before October is up! The movie itself is one of those "you love it or you hate it" ones, and I have heard people say that it is so sad that it makes them want to slice a vein. woah. Bjork's talent as a singer and composer on this film is already evident, as Selmasongs is an astonishing album, and I hope that her acting ability is just as good. It should be, with her Best Actress honour at Cannes. sigh. I hope to see it soon, and I hope you do too, Dan. love to all. too fast for love, ana ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 8 Oct 2000 21:50:55 EDT From: Emo5858@aol.com Subject: hey there party people. sorry for the blatant off topic-ness, but anyone who lives remotely in the DE area, if you are interested in going to a really good punk show, email me privately and I'll give you the dilly, yo. xoxo ana ------------------------------ End of support-system-digest V3 #271 ************************************
