Since there really is no band right now, Kim is playing most of the instruments herself (including drums). Kelley of course is playing guitar. It's like practically Marc Bolan. Lita Ford, even. She played bass guitar before the Breeders, but it's true that she never picked up a guitar before "last splash." I think the "hard men" thing with sebastian bach is defunct, as is the KD6000; however, she does play guitar on the new breeders record, which hopefully will be out by the end of the year. Kim Deal plays all the other instruments (including drums).
