Heather Nova news... there's a live album out in the UK now! I can't see Liz's new album even being released in the UK/Europe after the trouble with WCSE, especially as it's no longer a Matador product. WCSE was only released after a bit of a kerfuffle and Caopito won't be too keen to repeat the problems. Thank goodness for internet and the cd's available on it! off to think of more good cd's from this year... damn it, i forgot Idlewild and the Wannadies!!! "and i wonder how i've come to know so much less than i knew before" ... Joseph Lee Henry. "i know the promise is so much better than the real thing" ... I personally think it's an incredible song and not really like anything else she had done up to that point. I never understood why she didn't consider including it on _whitechocolatespaceegg_, and as far as I know, she's never even recorded a demo or studio version of it, which I really hope she will do at some point. Of course, we also still need a studio version of "You Have No Idea," which is just as incredible, if not more...<< Much agreed Jase. It's odd that alot of Liz's best songs (IMO) are her unreleased songs. Songs like "Beginning To See The Light", "You Have No Idea", "Bloodkeeper", "Russian Girl", and alot of others are so amazing. It kills me that studio versions of them have never been officially released. I don't know if Liz realizes just how great some of these songs are, and that's a real shame. Oh well, at least we get to hear some version of the songs whether it's a demo, live or whatever. Hopefully someday finished studio versions of some of these songs will see the light of day. I'm sure someone's already mentioned this but, Instant Karma (John Lennon), Karma Man (David Bowie), Karmacoma (Massive Attack), Karma Slave (Lit), Karma Killer (Robbie Williams), Deep Karma Canyon (Bob Mould). Is that enough? :) __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
