During >one song she said something like "nina, louise, and the drummer, never >compared to Jim". anyone know why she'd say this? YES!! I saw them in May in Michigan - and during Pretty Boys she said the SAME LINE!! It was like... the verse where she's like "one summer ago...that was the summer of sin....me, nina and a drummer who never compared to jim..." that is sooo it!! I was soo shocked when she said that in the song -mentioning Nina - and I was like EXCITED to actually GET my hands on the album (it wasn't out at the time) and I was a bit disapointed when I listened to the song and realized that the line was no there... I really wish I knew the story behind that too. Kinda cool... at one point she also made >out with Suzanne. DAMN!! At the show I saw - Suzanne was a total DITZ!! For real! Like, I think Louise was PISSED OFF at her. For one song - Louise LITERALLY stopped playing guitar - so she could reach over and TURN ON Suzanne's BASS!!!! It was fucking brutal!! ANd like, Suzanne just kinda stood there the whole time (while my boyfriend sat at her FEET - *ON* the stage) and just kinda strummed her bass looking all stoned and out of it like some kind of dime-store Jim Morrison, sans the poetry. SHe didn't impress me though. Anyway, sounds like a really cool show!! I'd go see Veruca Salt ANY DAY OF THE WEEK again cuz they were amazing live...Louise sounded fantastic and I thought she kept it up musically better than EVER!!! She knows her way around that guitar... It was cool too, cuz near the end of the show, during HELLRAISER - she started like, WALING on her guitar, and like, flat out licking up and down the neck of it..and like, it made all these freaky feedback curling, grinding sounds with her tongue touching it...it was soooo neat-o!!!! I LOVE HER!!!!!! dats dat. love dan.
