I think I am going to go ahead and order the CD -- my curiosity has gotten the best of me and if this really does exist, it'll be the perfect thing to tide us over until the release of Liz's new record. I'll keep everyone posted on what happens. It doesn't surprise me that they wouldn't have any information available on the CD. From what I've gathered from their site, they don't actually have any of the discs in stock, but once you place your order will order them from their suppliers from whatever country the CD's origin is. Another thing that crossed my mind is that even if this was a release that had been scheduled and then pulled, it would indicate that there is maybe more unreleased material in the vaults than we suspect. If Liz takes too long to finish up the new record, maybe Capitol will release a compilation of b-sides and outtakes in the meantime. Wishful thinking perhaps, but the material does exist and by now there's enough of it to warrant this. One frustrating thing about the delay of the new record is that I hadn't realized I was looking forward to it so much until it was put on hold. Consciously, I had braced myself to be prepared for any delays after what happened with _whitechocolatespaceegg_, but a part of me still had my hopes set high.... Jase NP: Michael Penn, _MP4 (Days Since A Lost Time Accident)_ (I know I mentioned a while ago that Aimee Mann sings back-up on a couple of songs on this album, but what I forgot to write is that Buddy Judge does as well.) ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 21 Feb 2000 10:06:54 EST From: "Strife and Misery" Subject: Re: Heavy High No, it's not the Great Lost Liz Phair cd, just a catalog misprint. I forget the real artist's name (some woman from th UK, I recall), but the distributors' catalog lists it as a Liz cd in their database. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 21 Feb 2000 10:50:20 EST From: Vixen1542@aol.com Subject: Re: Heavy High Hi everyone..I dont usually have time to post, but I'm at work, so I have all the time in the world... I looked on cdnow.com for an album titled heavy high, and its by a woman named Liz HORSMAN, and it seems to be an import for over $30. also, the site says the origin of the album is from Sweden...thats about all the info I could find.. - -jessica ------------------------------ End of support-system-digest V3 #47 ***********************************
