But I saw an interview with Googoo Doll lead singer, but I don't know his name. Well, when the Googoo Dolls got popular, some fans and other bands from their locale accused them of selling out. In response he said, something to the effect of: "To sell out you have to do two things: 1) Do something you don't want to do 2) Do it purely for money." With this logic I don't believe Liz has sold out. But it's neither. Liz definitely hasn't. I think she's very true to her music. paige- ===== "Wake up, dead man. Hi all- I have loved Aimee Mann's music since the first 'Til Tuesday album. She's a great artist and it's wonderful that she's getting some well-deserved recognition for her work on the Magnolia soundtrack. But when did Support System become The Aimee Mann Digest? Maybe Aimee would actually get to read all of your comments if you posted them to her list instead of Liz's? Just a thought . . . You know on Breathing Tornadoes the 2nd track "Nothing Much Happens" there's talking under the track and it says stuff like "I drank a bottle of Absolut..." "I took my clothes off..."...what else is he saying on that? Could anyone here help....Thanks in advance!!! Liz __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? I would always be surprised when people said that it was their favorite album and I would just shrug it off to the Violator Effect (I have found that their is a huge group of people that like Depeche Mode's Violator best but, for every single one of them, it was the first music they heard by Depeche Mode). Well, I've been listening to it recently and I don't know what's changed for me but I love it! It's like I got a new cd yet I know all the words. It isn't my favorite yet but it's got a great flow to it and is definitely a complete album. Unfortunately, one thing that I haven't gotten over is how often she repeats lines at the end of songs (How often is she going to kiss that Buddha!). My girlfriend has brought this up as well, does anyone else get slightly annoyed by this? Take care, Gabe __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? The Phair shots are from 14 August 1999, at the Pine Knob show in Clarkston, MI. Don't know much beyond that, but a couple of 'em are good.
