All of the Aimee Mann fans on the list might want to download the latest version of QuickTime, if you haven't already got it, then go to to see the video for "Save Me," which is the first single off of the Magnolia soundtrack. Unfortunately, the audio quality leaves something to be desired, but it at least will give you an idea of how the song sounds. It's not as immediately accessible as some of the songs from _I'm With Stupid_ and the _Bachelor No. 2_ preview EP, but it really grows on you after a couple of listens. Also, while I'm at it, I just thought I'd remind everyone that the Magnolia soundtrack is due to be released on December 7, which is less than two weeks away. For the many Juliana Hatfield fans on the list, you might be glad to hear that she provides backing vocals on the song "Deathly," having previously contributed to "Amateur" and "You Could Make a Killing" from _I'm With Stupid_. And since I'm already off-topic, just out of curiosity, has anyone picked up the new Beck album yet? Any opinions? I probably won't be able to make it to the record store until the end of the week to pick up a copy, but I can't wait to hear it. Also, the singer from the Sneaker Pimps, Kelli Dayton, left them so technically you can't play the Sneaker Pimps in your matriarchal show. Are any americans on this list going to a Ben Folds Five concert anytime soon- are they touring in the US now or in the near future? Goodbye, Farewell, Avedis- damn does anyone learn deutsch on this? Went to Chicago over the 4th of July. Got to check out fireworks from my room at the Hilton. Million people showed up in Grant Park. Also stumbled across Jazz Record Mart near south end of Rush St. Been through the train station, but this was my first chance to spend a good amount of time there. Passed on visiting the Manhole, so maybe I'm not a total pervert (just mostly). Chasing Amy chased more people out of the theater that just about any movie I've ever seen. I thought it was it was pretty funny, but again that's me. If this works, this will be my first post. I have some questions. First, who is Janet Raines? There's alot of talk about her, but since I just joined a couple of weeks ago, I haven't the foggiest who your talking about. Also, if one finds themselves in hickville, usa with pretty much no free time for driving to bigger cities for concerts, how does one meet Liz? Can you write to her? Thank you for your time.
