I was/am a MEGA MEGA Eve's Plum fan..this band totally blew me away - i have both albums "ENVY" and "Cherry Alive" and I think they are completely incredible. At any chance I get (several times on this list the past couple years) I have supported, advertised and tried to promote this band as much as possible - they are sooo worth checking out. Such accomplished performers, and amazing song writers. Colleen Fitzpatrick has a beautiful voice...I've been in love with her since the debut back in 93 or 94..something like that..right around the same time I fell for Liz. Anyway..when Eve's Plum broke up I was really upset - and I was waiting on the edge of my seat for something from Colleen..now I am hearing about this Vitamin C project..and so far, from the reviews - it is a complete joke. Can this be true??? I mean, there is not a single doubt in my mind that Colleen is a very accomplished singer/vocalist/songwriter - I own 2 albums worth of great music, all co-written and performed by her, but I am hearing nothing but HORRID reviews about Vitamin C. I haven't heard it yet..is it bad? Did she become Britney Spears or something?? Anyone who has heard Vitamin C - let me know..I have yet to see the album in stores, and I am planning on buying it...anything by Colleen Fitzpatrick can't be that bad...or can it?? Lemme know either way...been waiting for something from her since 1997. I really hope this whole Vitamin C thing has a deeper meaning to it...i hope she didn't pull an Alanis in reverse..it's not dance music, is it? eheh just think..back in 1987 Colleen played Amber in the John Water's flick "Hairspray"...she's had a quite a carreer..cool-ass chick - hope she didn't become a teenybopper...she's much too old to date any of the backstreet boys.
