So, anyways, this question resurfaced in my brain:

Someone said that Liz sounded as if she was itching to get back in the
studio to record (this was months ago, mind you).  So did anything ever
materialize from this?  Any chance of a new album finally?

And are there any "mass-produced" liz singles other than juvenilila EP and
..,i forget the name, but there's always two non-lp's i find. but i never
see any liz singles (import and whatnot).

So, we're standing in line waiting to watch this history of rock film at 
the rock and roll hall of fame in Cleveland (which I very, very highly 
recommend to anyone--we spent about six hours there and I'm positive I 
would have been quite content for at least another six. Go there!), and I 
was watching this sort of collage of rock music and video that was being 
shown on a wall close to  some of the exhibits. It started with the old 
folks like Elvis and Little Richard, progressed through Bob Marley, Jimi 
Hendrix, etc. to today. The modern section included people like Green 
Day, Nirvana, and the Breeders (they did that cannonball song, right?) as 
well as Liz! It was only a short clip of never said, but I was pleased 
nonetheless and immediately explained to my line-mates how cool it was 
that she was part of the collage. The end.

Hey, my roomates and I have been trying to come up with good ways to 
finish stories the other day. So far we've come up with "the end," 
"ta-da," "stop looking at me," "shutup, you," and simply running away. 
Any other suggestions?

So, as I was drifting to sleep last night, I had this interesting 
thought. Well, it was interesting to me in my half-conscious state, but 
that may not be the case at all now. We'll see...so, say that mp3s 
continue to gain popularity and more and more artists start selling music 
that way. Would the whole idea of an album even continue to exist? There 
would be no reason for an artist to release an entire album of mp3s at a 
time, although TMBG did just that not all that long ago. But what if 
listeners only paid for the songs that they liked? (I was thinking that 
I'm not all that interested in buying a certain compilation CD, but that 
if I could pay a proportional amount for just one song by a certain 
artist on the CD, I would definitely do it.) So, I guess another question 
that comes out of this is whether or not artists put the same amount of 
effort into every song on an album. Are some songs just "fillers"? If 
fans only paid for the songs that they liked, would artists write their 
music differently in any way? Hmmm...
