That's so cool...ecspecially since she places MARY MAGDALENE ...hence..you know..my name...it's just a bit blue that i would have no way of seeing it in my square state--so anyone that does see it well have to tell me what kind of actress miss Polly Jean does make. >should you become a tatted person Oh i love people that can appreciate body art! I have 3 tatoos. None are as large as yours sound though. I have a dark and dreary butterfly on the back of my neck(which i found confortable--of course that was my third one)some stars on the middle of my left back(my first)and a dragonfly about 3 inches to the right of my navel. That was by far the most painful--the others didn't hurt at all..that one however....IGGGGGGG.... >IT IS TOTALLY FICTION. The whole legend / documentary / dead >filmmakers >thing is NOT REAL! I would still beg to differ--but i guess that's only me. I do agree that is way to hyped up though. I mean it looks like an extrememly interesting film and everything but i hate when they devestate low budget/indie films by turning them into the fucking TITANIC bullshit. Well that was a sad short little digest. I'm rather blue now. I was looking forward to so much more on this Saturday night/Sunday mourn... Also for those of you who say no one ever comes to Florida, your dry spell has been put on hiatus- That's right....Yes, YOU too, can finally enjoy something all of us lucky near city dwellers are privy to...... a concert!!!!!!! Guess what? It starts in Fort Lauderdale! Enjoy! <http://click. mp3.com/ct/n_153991737/o_mn1/u_Alanisandtori >> also, one other non-related Liz content: I just saw American Pie. It is sooooooooo fucking funny!!!! If you guys liked Something about Mary you'll love this...same kind of humor, only maybe they took it a little further. Anyway, I thought it was funnier than SAMary...the best is when he fucks the pie!!! Hey a liz song would've been very appropriate for this movie..which is all about teen sex. I think someone else may have said that now that I reread this, oh well, great minds... that's all dp in nj ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 18 Jul 1999 13:43:57 EDT From: Danaldj@aol.com Subject: Ben Lee-woodstock, Hole on Letterman, Lilith Is Ben Lee really playing Woodstock? I went to the woodstock website and his name was not listed among the performers. Also on the Grand Royal webpage, it says Ben is playing "Woodstock, NY- developing artist stage" Woodstock the concert is not in Woodstock, NY it is in Rome, NY- wouldn't Grand Royal put that he's playing the woodstock festival in Rome, NY? I tried calling the town of Woodstock to find out but to no avail. Anyone have any further info? I 'd love to see Ben and Woodstock is a really, REALLY COOL town- I love it, but there is NO WAY in hell I will be caught at the monsters of Lame Rock festival. Nor will I put out all that cash just to see Ben. That's kinda how I feel about Lilith, too- no offense- I Love female musicians, in fact my radio shows specialize in female musicians, but I am not a big fan of that many musicians on the tour, so it is not worth it to me to fork out all that dough, y'know? If Liz was doing a Lilith date in Nj then , I would go , but otherwise probably not. Did you guys notice that Sarah MacLachlan was on Jay Leno at the same exact time as Hole was on Letterman? I thought Hole sounded cool and I liked the interview although, she did seem to be a little jumpy and did anyone see her fall at the end.. that was kinda funny. I think Courtney was on very good behavior though, and I think she is stilll working hard to bury that bad girl reputation she had for soo long. She was very nice to Dave and when he asked her if there were any misconceptions about herself she wanted to clear up..surprisingly she said "no". Well, that's it....blah, blah, blah...all cats ARE grey and there is nothing left, nothing left...but faith. Did you know the Cure are supposed to put out a new album soon? Although I am not too excited, cos the last few were not nearly as good as the older ones. Heard "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now" on the radio last nite! YEah! all right now i am off like....you can fill in the blank dp in nj p.s. Oh yeah, just remembered a funny thing that happened before. Awhile back I had written a post and it disappeared, so i recreated what i could remember from memory, but never knew what happened to the post. Well, my extremely non-internet oriented mother was checking her e-mails with my sister's help and found the post I had written (somehow she got it) and she started reading it.... Mom..."Who's....? ...Who's Evan Dando?" It was one of the most amazing, original, innovative, and SCARY movies i have ever seen. just plain disturbing. it was so well-done, i am still in awe. and btw, it *is* completely fictional. there were no 3 film students who disappeared. the whole thing is completely fiction. (um, hi, they wouldn't be allowed to release it as a *Movie*, which is what it is, if it were the actual footage of 3 kids who disappeared!!!) go see this movie. oh, and also, heather donahue was fucking amazing....as was the rest of the cast. steve 'drop little boy crumbs you can follow back when you get lost becoming a man' -sleater-kinney ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 18 Jul 1999 14:17:50 -0400 (EDT) From: sandra Subject: Re: support-system-digest V2 #205 hi all my yahoo account is like 99.9 percent full so every time I get a digest I have to delete it right away or I can't get another ... so my post is an amalgam of responses to recent digests that I can't go back to ... forgive the randomness. ... whoever wrote in about the Blair Witch truth--why give that away, man? the movie just came out; give it some time. some unscrupulous person told me that before I saw it yesterday and it totally took away from the horror of the movie, which I was psyched for. big freakin bummer for me, let me tellya. so yes, Katie, I did get to see it ... crazy, I ran into katiebrown walking to the theater--the ONLY theater in Boston that was playing it! lucky her, she got tix for opening night, but all nine or ten shows that night were sold out by the time I got there (at 7 PM). ... I think that Tomorrow, Wendy would be the best Concrete Blonde song for Liz to play ... much more suited to her voice IMHO. ... desperation ... anyone know any responsible, mature, intelligent, resourceful, Internet-savvy college grads looking for admin-type jobs in Boston? my company is hiring and I cannot believe how much hard work it is to find good people ... ... I asked this before, but don't think anyone answered it, so methinks I am out of luck ... but does anyone have a boot of the Cinco de Mayo show? ... for the lonelyhearts out there, I find it more therapeutic to get mad than to get sad so I highly recommend Pretty Hate Machine by Nine Inch Nails in its entirety for any and all breakups. And any Ani Difranco tunage(particularly the earlier stuff; Out of Habit comes to mind) is self-affirming enough for the worst of situations ... I also like Puke and Cry by Dino Jr. for its mantra of "There's things I'd like to show you, but you don't even know you ..." Also, if you haven't already, dig breakupgirl.com. And of course, there's good old Miz Phair, whose "you've been around enough to see that if you think you're it you better check with me" is unparalleled. (And FUCK my JF for introducing me to that line in the first place ...) ... And I'm sure I'll get some kind of shit for this, but I am so bored of reading about various drugs and their effects in this-here digest. Possibly as bored as some of you are of reading about breakups and the blair witch and people's personal Johnny Feelgoods, so I'll shut up now and get back to work.
