I always assumed it was her saying "i'll see you around" to her band, and the places she plays. the places she plays being the "hollow" and Liz being the "favorite sound" amimakinsense ?<< Sure, that makes some sense. This is one of the many examples where the verse lyrics don't appear to have much to do with the chorus lyrics, which leaves the whole thing pretty ambiguous. >>well, I have been on this list for about a week and I think I ought to put my ten cents in. Anyway, I think Liz should cover "I've Got a Feeling." yeah, I can just hear her voicing over the George Harrison part. It really fits her.<< George Harrison part? If you're talking about the, "Everybody had a good year..." portion I thought that was John. Mr. DarkSideof theMoon might be able to give us confirmation on this one since I don't have a recording to refer to. But the lyrics in that section especially suggest John to me. Anyway, welcome to the list! So, no one has said anything about my Barbara Manning posts. I knew two DJs that died one day before a rave doing Special K(a tranquilizer) and "roofies". Another guy did acid and wigged out and was yelling stuff like "marshmallow..guitar...ketchup...andy.." no words in between there. He didn't make any sense and then proceded to smash his head into anything and everything nearby (windows, houses, etc)and try to kill everyone around him because he thought they could read his mind. In my front yard!!! Well, to the person who wanted to try acid, let this be a warning. I'm not telling you not to try it, just that I know people who took the exact same amount of it and they had a blast. It definately affects people differently. sorry for the babbling and non-liz content. _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? I heard that song on the radio yesterday and I think it would really be a cool one for her to do...some of the lyrics seem Liz-worthy too (i.e. "And when you said I scared you, well I guess you scared me too" etc). Oh, one other thing...has anyone seen that MTV show The Blame Game? I think the female "lawyer" on that show kinda looks like Liz.
