In people's setlists for this tour they're calling the new song that's not firewalker "don't apologize." Did she say, Hey this is called don't apologize or what? Is it the same new song she played at both Iowa City and Dekalb? I haven't popped the tape over and listened to it carefully yet, but she didn't say a title at either of those shows and I dont' remember any reference to "don't apologize" in the lyrics. All I remember is "Hey, hey, hey" What's the matter and falling out of bed, trying anything to take your mind off it." and it's a really rocking song. Same one? Where'd the title come from? Someone is always there at one of her concerts and she usually recognizes this by saying something like ,"I see the Fumblers are here tonight". I think it would be cool to have something like that to do for Liz so it would be a constant throughout her career, and she would always see that this group was there with her at every show. Wouldn't this make you feel good if someone was always there for you? I think after a while you'd be looking for it,when you sang that particular song. Anyhow, throw it around the list and see what happens. By the way you can go to glowsticks.com and see the different colors they offer. We are a Support System so let's do something cool like this to show our support in a simple and inexpensive way. What did everyone think of the 2 new songs, "Firewalker" and "Don't Apologize", she played? I really love both of these songs and they both sounded great! "Firewalker" was definately dark, and sounded really great. "Don't Apologize" was definately my favorite though. Especially the guitar riffs in the song, which sounded alot heavier that usual. Both songs really showed off Liz's guitar talents I thought. She was really rockin' and giving it her all on guitar during those songs, especially "Don't Apologize". I really hope both of these songs are on her next album. Just wondering what everyone else thought? Craig "AdRock" RVD 4:20 says I just smoked your ass! However, as long as were on the subject, I have another question. When performing live covers, does one have to get the rights to perform the song, or is it only if one records that particular song? Input is appreciated. Oh, Bill, it is Marpusal, not marsupial, although the two are very close. It involves a corruption of marsupial and an old friend, when I was living in Texas, that had his head up his ass one night. When I moved back to Wisconsin I took that name as my handle on the IRC, and it stuck. Just some more useless trivia, hehe. Sorry, no liz info tonight. Oh wait! I spoke too soon.
