I have an extra ticket for the April 22 show at Millersville Univ outside of Lancaster,Pa. I can also offer a ride to the show, from my house if need be,the ticket cost $20.00,but more than anything I don't want to waste it. My wife and I couldn't get a babysitter so I told her she has to stay home(ha,ha) thus the extra ticket. The thing about the Dekalb show was that it was my first time and there were a few mistakes that were comedic. As I suspected, the Iowa City show did go a lot smoother. First off, David Mead sounded a lot better. Still didn't like the set, but he was much better. He had a keyboardist this time and used an electric guitar in some songs instead of going all acoustic. The setlist for liz was basically the same as the Dekalb show. However, it seemed like she played a couple more songs during the Iowa City show. She played three songs during the encore instead of two in the Dekalb show. One of the songs that she played was Never Said which she didn't play at Dekalb. For some reason, my memory of the Iowa City show is not as great as the one for Dekalb. Anyway, liz looked great once again. I think she's still perfecting her Mezmerizing dance. Maybe it's just me, but during the Iowa City show, I really felt like Liz had become a rock star. It was really weird. I think it was that whole lighter thing where she encouraged us to put up those lighters. Reminds me of the eighties (rock on!). She just seemed so excited to be on stage and looked really happy when she came for the encore. Sorry, I was having a moment there. Well, that's all I can think of for the Iowa City report. Hope to read other people's opinions on other shows. Peace out \/ Steve === "I love you Sorsha! I worship you Sorsha!" _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Or any other source you all may be able to recommend. I was at DeKalb as well and thought it was so incredible that there were so few people there. Actually it was nice for those of us who were there because we were able to experience an intimate show, laid back, with Liz goofin' around. I much prefer small shows to the stadium yawners. How on earth can you feel the music at a stadium show. I'd compare seeing Liz in DeKalb to seeing Smashing Pumpkins at a small bar no longer in business in Madison. The way music should be seen. Anyway, I agree with what others have written. Liz rocked, although I was smitten with her shyness. I agree she was comfortable on stage, but found it charming that after each song she'd smile at us like she couldn't believe we liked her and her music. Very cute. I concur on her blouse or lack there of. Very, shall we say, revealing. But hey, what away to say "there's nothing between me and my audience." Very cool move. David Mead did suck. It was the most excruciating opening band I've ever had to endure and I've seen over 100 shows in my three decades. Liz sure strikes a vibe in my life. Would have loved to try to meet her afterword but had to leave town for a business meeting at 9 the next morning two state away. The sacrifices we make for our music. Best to you all.
