Not bad. I forgot what magazine she found it in. Liz has her hair piled up on her head and is looking in a mirror, showing off her flat tummy. The ad shows women from Lilith Fair in Levi's clothes. That's all kid, back to watching ER. - -Stephanie PS- Sorry, I have no scanner or website, gotta buy the mag. if you want to see it. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 09 Apr 1999 02:10:54 EDT From: "Alisha Heidbrink" Subject: I thought it was funny. Well, we had a little mix up the other day with the survey's now didn't we. I some how posted someone else's and mine appeared else where, but since everyone hated them, I guess it doesn't much matter. Mike, I thought your comments were funny. I laughed when I read "and watch how fast they run, to the flame(r)." It was a nice release from the crazy amounts of papers and projects I have due right now. I wish you a lot of luck in your sitch. Just be supportive. I'm sure your friend will appreciate having a friend to count on. I keep counting the days 'til I get to see liz in Grand Rapids! I am so excited! And it is the day before classes end and the Naked Mile. WOOHOO. Take care everyone. Alisha _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web. Call it "self-absorption," or "mild paranoia," for lack of a better term. - ----My point exactly, Liz was a self proclaimed pot head at the time. >>"See how fast they run to the flame" - - -How about the simple answer, folks? She's comparing these evil roommates to brainless moths, heading to whatever is the the brightest light in their immediate area. Makes sense when coupled with the previous line, "Turn my disgust into fame." (Or something like that - don't have all her lyrics memorized.) I honestly thought the song being about pot might be the simple answer, again, because she was a pot head. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 9 Apr 1999 13:14:13 EDT From: AngelLieb@aol.com Subject: The Heartache KB wrote: << well, i wasn't going to say anything about this but i suppose i will ... It's was so sad to lose a friend who only had her license for a week and then get hit by a drunk driver. Not that anyone cares. Just speaking from the heart that's all. I live in Orlando, where the city still in the top ten in the nation for heroin overdoses and one of the leading cities in the state of Florida. It's so sickening to open the paper every week to read statistics about the overdoses and drug busts. It's not getting any better and the numbers continue to rise. I don't know if anyone remembers or not, but 20/20 did a report on Orlando regarding the overdoses a couple years ago. So when I see a few people posting under the influence, it's kinda sickening in some ways and I don't find it funny anymore. Of course, this is my opinion and I can't tell everyone to stop it.
