It made for extra steps when solving equations. I agree, the Metric system is much better than what we use; but a complete change for the USA is unfathomable because most of our mainframe computers would have to be replaced - an overhaul that would probably cost hundreds of billions of dollars. The first one i downloaded was NOT Tom Petty's song, so I"m d/ling the second one. I forgot to mention soemthing in my post from last night. At that concert board meeting, after I suggested Liz Phair, someone goes "That's Chick Rock." I was like "She is NOT chick rock." Ugh. The ignorance. Okay I just checked my p hone messages, and someone left a message for a Nicole, but it was obviously not me. It sounded like a black guy, and he was like "Nicole? THis is Buddha. You asked me about Sasha [or sometihng... i forget]. I haven't seen her. I don't know where she is either. Okay bye." I kissed the buddha and made him call and leave a weird message. Tell us what to do. I still love the show, even if it isn't as weird and fascinating as the first couple of seasons. - --------------- Who's grabbed the bull by the balls, er ring and started organizing this? I know I suggested July 9-11 so that it is after July 1st (Canada) and 4th of July (U.S.A.) holidays, and so that anyone in school should be on a break and thus able to attend, but has it been decided about hotel v. campground, other events (besides drinking, singing, getting arrested, etc.), wait for Lilith in hopes Liz plays there, etc? I'm hoping that if I get my shit together in time, I can work in a business meeting in Indy about the same time and take 10 days off work to travel. I think someone posted hotel rates from an internet site (sorry, don't remember who you were), but it would be real cool if someone who has booking power (someone who works for a big company, works at a hotel, whatever) could reserve a block for us?!
