Its wierd though, all of the dreams I have had about liz (about 5 since August) have been pretty rational (as far as dreams go). In every single one of them, I have been at her concert and she has called me over and shes like Jenny, I havent seen you in forever whats UP? and we just talk. These dreams are really long and realistic. I actually believe in dream premonitions, so maybe its a sign......... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jenny "All the fear has left me now, I'm not frightened anymore" - Sarah McLachlan- http://www.liz-phair.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 16 Dec 1998 21:41:52 -0800 (PST) From: Craig King Subject: cancellation theory Maybe since Liz cancelled those dates in NOV/DEC or whatever, she's writing some new songs again. Maybe since she had that 4 year absence between albums, she wants to wite some more songs and record another album ASAP. Remember there was only about a year between EIG and WS. I dunno, but something tells me Liz won't wait another four years go by in between WCSE and her next album. I know it's just wishfull thinking, but I would love it if this is true. Still haven't figured out which, but the verses sound almost exactly like some Bowie or Sweet song--something glam. Which can get you in legal trouble if you release it and try to make money off it. Heck, she might not have even realized when she recorded the demo; maybe not til later. - ---Mark ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 17 Dec 1998 10:37:49 PST From: "Chipko Arnold" Subject: Top 10 of '98 OK, i know you didn't ask for it, but here is my top 10 albums of the year. All the worst stuff has been erased from my mind, or thrown away. I'm off to see Marilyn Manson now!! I'm going for the irony of it all. On this stupid thing that we have to watch in school, it's called like Channel 1 or something, they were playing Liz in the background when they were like going to comercial or what-ever. Since I am new to the wide world of Liz Phair trading on the mailing list, I was wondering what other kinds of songs that she has put out that aren't on any of her major releases (EIG, WS, Juvenilia, WCSE). I heard there was one titled "Girly Sounds" or something. If anyone has any unreleased, b-side or compilation Liz Phair tunes that they would like to share with me, we could set up a trade. I have a ton of stuff from Beck, got an A+ Pearl Jam bootleg, plus a Garbage B-sides collection. E-mail me and tell me if you'd like to trade.
