Well, if this counts, when I was eight, I joined the Mr. T. fan club. I don't remember if I got any kind of paraphrenelia. I still have the small black and white photograph the club sent me. It's of Mr. T., in full regalia, signed "God Bless You, Mr. T." Anyway, I like reading your reviews of the shows and encounters with Liz. They are great :) Jase: >Also, I must honestly ask, what does Liz owe us anyway? Oh I remember we had this thread more than one year ago. Artists owe us NOTHING. The deal is simple: we pay some money and we get a CD if it's a musician or we get to see a movie if it's an actor. That's all. They don't owe us to be available if we want them to tour for years or if we want autographs or take pictures or invade their private life. That's my opinion. But I can understand that people are pissed by cancelled shows especially if they have bought the tix and booked airplane, etc... However nobody knows for sure who's responsible, the venues, the management, Liz herself or her dog so all these talks about why the shows are cancelled are just suppositions and will lead us nowhere until someone comes up with *facts* imo. My dream set: Whatever she wants! It'll be awesome no matter what she plays :) Katie: > Sorry! I know this is my third post for the day, but I just added the cutest, >funniest thing to my page! Not everyone on this list is American ;) King AdRock: >and is one of my all time favorite videos, behind The Beastie Boys - >"Sabotage" I like the uncut version when they run over the guy with the car in the end and put the car in reverse to run over him once more and have a big laugh out of it. I've been on 6ft1 too and I think the main difference is that there are much more people on SS. It's more diverse and maybe a little more off-topic but I don't mind that personally and as I receive the digest, I don't care if the same person posts several times a day. Jase: >If the entire previous digest > is quoted, the message will exceed the maximum length allowed by the > server and will bounce to me. Can we know exactly what the max length is? Not that I send monster posts but you always say don't go over the max length and you don't say how much it is exactly. I'm just curious. In answer to... > From: Ascending to the Stars > > can some one please tell me why guys are incapable of saying what they > mean?! that is my new poll... i think liz would find it interesting too > > (:ruthie:), whose sig has all the liz content she needs I'm reminded of the saying "Don't ask a question unless you're prepared for the answer." (:ruthie:), it's not that we're incapable of saying what we mean, it's that like you, we sometimes change our minds. Women, however, have better memories than we, so if I tell my girlfriend that "I don't think that dress looks very good on you" (EXACT WORDS, I swear!!!), she'll use that against me later, when discussing something not even remotely related to dresses! And, maybe after seeing her in that dress, I come to love it (much like the first time I listened to WCSE). Does that make us bad people? And I'm curious as to why you raise this issue? What happened? I guess my response to your survey question would be: because we've never been allowed to express our feelings and beliefs honestly. There's no sense trying to lay blame for this fact, but rather, let's just change the future. For example, did you ask this guy "Exactly what do you mean?" If he answered "I dunno," that's probably because he doesn't!! Jeez, I'm 31 and I *still* question my own judgement on everything! Doesn't everyone? Boy, I think I'm gonna get mail... But this is good discussion. _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!? I was having deep thoughts today (believe me, it's rare), and I was just wondering... I don't know if it's been mentioned in an article or discussed here before, but... well... and I should say that it's not really intersting either, but I'm just being annoying and taking up space on the digest... Anyway... is Nick named sort of after Liz's parents? I realize that his first name, James, is the name of Liz's husband, but like... his middle name being Nicholas... aren't Liz's parents named John and Nancy? J and N... James and Nicholas? I told you, it wasn't very intersting, or even deep, but relative to my usual thoughts, it's deep, okay? Oh and it's not important either, I just... wanted to write an e-mail and... well... sorry. Thanks. Oh I almost forgot! not to drill this issue into the ground even m ore, but about the 100th support system thing, it's like... how peole get excited when it's a new decade, but it's only been 10 years, ya know? Or even people who get excited about a new year! But the real shebang is when it'sa millenium or what have you. That was another deep thought I had. It came to me in the shower this morning. hey! At least we know I'm clean. (Yes, the water was running, I was naked, and I used soap and shampoo and all that good stuff, so I'm clean). - -Nicole I Spy a May Queen http://www.angelfire.com/ca/DontWalk P.S. Robbie... if you're out there... I will write you... it just takes mroe thought than I have time for right now, but after say... I am sorry, but I have been sooooooooo overwhelmed by requests for the Liz tape that I am stopping taking requests for it as of right now. I just have to. My time is kind of limited for awhile because of school/vacations. I already emailed a ton of people and we agreed upon deals. If this one of you, then our deal is still on. Don't worry, if I already emailed you with a deal, and we agreed upon it, then it's cool. I emailed some of you and said you could send a blank tape and postage. That's cool too. Just be sure to email me back and let me know if you want to do that. I've been taping the boot all day long after school. I think I got about 25 requests for the video. I believe I emailed everyone who sent me a request. If I somehow missed you, then let me know. Some of you I emailed already and said I won't be able to tape it for you because I am stopping order requests as of right now. I'm sorry about this, but like I said above, I just can't right now. Just thought I'd let everyone know what is going on with the Liz boot. Thanks, Craig "The KingAdRock" _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
