Liz is due over around that time as well and will be performing on a London radio station at some then! More details nearer the time. WOOP WOOP WOOP. Keep March clear for the tour. ARG!!!! can some one please tell me why guys are incapable of saying what they mean?! that is my new poll... i think liz would find it interesting too back to work... Damn, I can't believe the overwhelming responce to the Chicago bootleg video that I just posted the other day. Well, if I haven't emailed some of you already, don't worry, I will respond to each and every person that emailed me about the boot. I give you my word. It just might take some time. Not too long though, I hope. It's just that with the semester coming to a close, I'm crunched for time. But I'll be done on December 17, so I'll have a ton of time after that. Especially since I'm not currently working. But, once again, I promise to get back to each and every one of you. Plus, i'm working on my own Liz web site, which is going VERY good so far. I can't wait to get it done. Later, Craig "The KingAdRock" _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!? A big thank you to Chuck for his kind words - and for being fun, literate, creative, and caring beyond description. From the heart and soul, my friend... :^) Melissa Leigh - I *love* your imagery re: WCSE the song - <> That image makes sense to me as the "story" behind the inner photos... Liz, small, alone and contemplative, thinking about Johnny and his many colors/facets (or herself and her own facets?), reflected in the exotic beauty of the Southwest and ITS many colors - solid, weathered, yet ever-changing over many eons - listening to the way the wind echoes in the cave-hollow, taking refuge against the elements but also enjoying their savage beauty. And then wrapped in a Mexican blanket, like Joseph's coat of many colors - in B/W, to leave us guessing which colors "protect" her... I've enjoyed reading other people's ideas on the lyrics too. I can't decide if WCSE the song is about having a child, or encouraging a lover to open up. Seems good arguments can be made for multiple interpretations. Dan (danmac), I really liked your take on the song too (puce, hee hee! If she included that color, how to rhyme it? ..."Orange and blue, green and puce. I see your face in my breakfast juice? I see we need to make a truce? I see you as a Christmas goose?") To me, "every corner has its favorite clown" is a sad image... alone in a corner, and feeling like a clown after "the magic's gone," realizing you tried too hard. My favorite line in the whole song is "Don't be shy, baby, don't be careful with me... let it go, let it soak me down..." Encouraging a lover to open up, to not hold back. I want to add that although a relationship breakup is one of the most painful things to go through, the relationship is never really "gone," because it lives on forever in your memory (and the other person's, too), whether or not you ever have contact with them again. Granted, this is a bittersweet realization at best, which may not make anyone feel better - but it has given me some comfort to look at it this way. Speaking earlier of Johnny (as in Feelgood), I can't wait till it's released as the new single - it's one of my favorites on WCSE, and it'd be GREAT to see Liz make the TV appearance circuit again, playing THIS one! Take that, Jay Leno! Maybe it'll provoke him to actually TALK to her after she performs it on the Tonight Show! And imagine all the housewives' reactions upon hearing the song on Rosie O'Donnell... "and she liked it? More and more? Gracious!" Monki - I have Suzanne Vega's Nine Objects of Desire too, and love it. Though I agree with you, she's a bit of an acquired taste and not for everyone. My favorites are "No Cheap Thrill" and "Caramel." And the cover photo is simply great! Sorry, I've gone on long enough. Thanks for listening! Just curious, has anyone ever written fan mail to your favorite singers/actors? Out of boredom I guess (gee, am I always bored?), I wrote Liz a letter and it was so easy to do. But yet, when I go to write a letter to someone else, it takes me about a day or two to do! I guess it has a lot to do with knowing that Liz is open with her fans and will listen. What KB said is soooooo true! If I could only have my Liz experience be like that, if not, better. =p One more week till I put in the order for the Liz pen. woo hoo! Anyone who would like to get one, please contact me! I got a lot of people saying they'd like to have one, but I haven't received money from that many. Having her own Spaceggy Day, Katie ();) P.S.
