I would be willing to pay for the CDRs and S/H on both. My ten-song setlist would consist of: 1. Explain It To Me--the most soothing song I've ever heard. 2. Fuck and Run---a pure classic. 3. Polyester Bride--because it makes me want to play the guitar better. 4. Supernova---because it's always the first song I skip to on Whipsmart. 5. Perfect World----In a perfect world, she would let me come up on stage and sing this great tune with her. 6. Divorce Song---because it is so true. 7. Johnny Feelgood---this song just fuckin' rocks 8. California---the best little guitar riff I've ever heard. 9. 6'1---What can I say, Liz has just got a way to hook you with her lyrics. 10. Never Said-----because it makes me think of my life. Encore---Whipsmart---because it just has this great beat, and I love the words--no matter how many times she repeats them. Take care guys and let's all pray that Liz reschedules some shows!!! The only reason I even SUGGESTED it, was more of a reminder, because if I am not mistaken, around December last year, this digest (then the 6'1) did the exact same thing?? ANy old schoolers remember that?? I think everyone gave a little "1998 in review" tribute last year. (um..ya, well then again, i guess there weren't 900 people then either....hehe) anyway, sorry if it was a bad idea...I just noticed that the list was getting way off topic too....so i figured maybe somehting on the subject of MUSIC would be a little appropriate, as I too am getting sick of mindless posts like for example, scammers selling off bootlegs and the seeemingly endless talk of Alanis' nakedness...In all honesty Myron, I really think there has been much more nonsensical posts the past few months than the one i put up there...a best of/worst of 98 list at the end of such an exceptional year in music on an intelligent music list like this one does not seem that silly to me? Take it to a news group??? Okay, I will try to keep my nonsense level down...i guess...I never thought i was that big on nonsense anyway, but whatever :) i know what you mean about the list being way off topic. oh.and ALanis: maybe the poor girl is just an exhibitionist!! If you send him two measly dollars, 8 quarters worth of money, about the same amount of money it takes to do laundry, less than the gov't takes out of your paycheck each week, we can all get to hear a song called "bars of the bed", and the unpolished versions of the songs we love on WCSE. Come on, you send money to adopt an Ethiopian child and half of it probably goes to sally struthers anyway. You may as well give two bucks to ken and get something back for it. A couple of you haven't given me your address yet and that's all I need before yours are in the mail. My tape player cranked out 20 tapes over the weekend. It's a good thing I'm gearing up for the end of the semester and had to be pathetic and do absolutely nothing this weekend(except see my beloved Seminoles romp over the Gators, but that's for another forum, sorry) If anybody else is interested in Liz boots including the '98 Boston and Minneapolis shows, contact me for a trade. I have my tape trading page at: http://www.angelfire.com/fl/layeroffilm/tapelist.html I have a little time to tape during the week, squeezing in time between the full time job and school. Colleen, the singer, has been semi-signed to I forget which company, so there should be something from her in the near future..I suggest everyone keep an eye out, because this girl is going to go somewhere...with a voice like hers, it would be a damn waste if she didn't. I just thought I'd throw in a little tidbit about colleen fitzpatrick - I went to high school with her but she was a few years older than me. She was friendly with my best friends sister. She was always in the school plays and was very conservative and sort of preppy. I think she went to Rutgers and they have a great alternative music scene and thats when she got pretty funky and started the band "Eve's Plum" (I don't know all of that for sure, but I think thats where she formed the band). Of course she doesn't know me, but I saw them play once in boston at the paradise and my friend and I tried to make contact with her but it didnt happen. Anyway, I love their music as well, and see more in the future for them. Colleen was also in the movie "Hairspray." I think that she had just got out of high school at that time because we all were very excited about that. thats my claim to fame. Does anyone know anything about Liz'a WFNX show with Tracy Bonham? Is it still on, I keep hearing that only 12/1 is on and then sometimes I hear that both 11/30 and 12/1. I am just curious...
