(Moreover, *how* was he capable of doing that?) "Why" was answered by he his saying he knew it was a lie, but he thought it was a beautiful lie, one he could live with. "How" is because he's her father. As Cordy's blood was enough to break Jasmine's spell, Connor was able to hurt/kill her because of their biological connection. There was a throw-away reference to it a few episodes earlier when they were discussing Cordy's blood. > (Any fellow _Miracles_-watchers catch the reference in this episode?) I did not catch the reference. What was it? > What a morally ambiguous end to the season. Was the price of "world peace" > really so high that it justified ending it? And can they really use > Wolfram & Hart for good instead of evil? (What is Cordelia going to say > when she wakes up? I can only imagine.) Which Cordy? I feel we've seen a variety of Cordelias the past few season. She's been written very inconsistently. She might get on her moral high horse and express outrage or she might resort to her valley girl gimme or she might be wise and jaded and say deal with it. > For the second season in a row, Cordelia ends up offstage for the end of > it. As annoying as he was, it wouldn't have been good > if Angel had killed him (or if he'd killed himself). I confess I was finding him a little too annoying myself. I hoping that the cut 11 minutes will explain more of that, the deal with Lila that got Connor a new life.
