I believe it was ED's first movie, and if I remember the story correctly, she was picked for the role after one of those nationwide talent searches. She was the lead character, and was about 9 years old. Similarly, Michelle Trachtenberg had a lead role in a movie when she was about nine, =Harriet the Spy=. Very talented young veterans, the pair of them. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 9 Apr 2003 07:42:48 -0700 From: "marty" Subject: Re: o/young eliza Thanks! Probably was. Seemed to be about enabling an elder sister to go out with her boyfriend over parents wishes. First role? Wow, she carried it very well.
