I'm sorta hoping that the apparent victim can survive like Giles did
(assuming that he actually has). But the trailer for next week is dismaying
on that front, unless there is unexpected mojo up the special guest's
sleeve.

But if what it looks like is going to happen does, it's one thing that I did
*not* see coming, and could create one hell of (another) formidable enemy
for the Big Goods.
