Has anyone noticed that the First seems to have a strange fascination with souled vampires? Also, this storyline has gotten me thinking about potential slayers. So far we've only seen the first attack potential slayers that the council knows about, though we know that Buffy, at least, slipped under their radar until she was called. And there must be many more potential slayers than are ever needed. Is there a point when a potential slayer becomes too old to be called? I would imagine, under the normal order, that the best available slayer is called, but what if all of the other potential slayers are killed? Hilary Hilary L. It's been repeated many times that vampires don't breathe (though of course actors do, so I don't expect those who are playing vampires to never show signs of respiration). But Angel just spent this past summer on the bottom of the Pacific; I'd think it would be fresh in the collective ME mind. Is this supposed to be a hint that Spike's becoming (for no discernible reason I can grasp) a Real Boy, or just a gaff? ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 19 Dec 2002 11:35:09 -0800 From: Joseph Zitt Subject: Re: b/Bring on the Night On Thu, 19 Dec 2002 08:30:24 -0600 (CST) allenw wrote: > > > > > Anyone else notice that Faith was actually name-checked? :) > > > > > > > > >Yes, and completely vulnerable. > > > > > > I would think she'd be pretty safe in prison, but I may be wrong. > > > > My guess (having just finished watching the episode): Not unless > > she's in solitary. Which is why, I think, they suspect that the plan is to take out the SITs, then Faith, then Buffy. Though, OTOH, Buffy herself became the Slayer without any time "on deck" as far as I know. Do we know anything about the Slayer before Buffy? I vaguely recall that Spike slew a Slayer on a NY subway, but was this her immediate predecessor? - -- | jzitt@josephzitt.com http://www.josephzitt.com/ | | GPG: A4224EFA http://www.mp3.com/josephzitt/ | | == New book: Surprise Me with Beauty: the Music of Human Systems == | | Comma / Gray Code / VoiceWAVE Silence: the John Cage Discussion List | ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 19 Dec 2002 14:44:19 -0500 (EST) From: Hilary Hertzoff Subject: Re: b/Bring on the Night On Thu, 19 Dec 2002, Joseph Zitt wrote: > > Do we know anything about the Slayer before Buffy?
