Thank you, Meredith. That's what I was saying. Which is why I am wondering about Spike's claim that he was trying to get his soul back. Could it be that he's convinced himself that that was his intention since he didn't succeed in what he really set out to do? That is certainly possible. He is so addled at this point, it's hard to take pretty much anything he says at face value. ============================================== Meredith Tarr New Haven, CT USA mailto:meth@smoe.org http://www.smoe.org/meth ============================================== Live At The House O'Muzak House Concert Series http://muzak.smoe.org ============================================== ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 7 Oct 2002 21:14:03 -0700 From: Joseph Zitt Subject: Re: b/from below it will devour... BTW, I was convinced for much of the episode that Spike, suddenly showing up respiffified, was actually the shapeshifter faking everyone out. But it did appear to be really him. He must have snuck back to his old crypt to retrieve his hair care products. (Hmm, since vampires are actually dead, do their hair and nails stop growing after awhile?) - -- | josephzitt@josephzitt.com http://www.josephzitt.com/ | | http://www.metatronpress.com/jzitt/ http://www.mp3.com/josephzitt/ | | == New book: Surprise Me with Beauty: the Music of Human Systems == | | Comma / Gray Code Silence: the John Cage Discussion List | ------------------------------ End of stillpt-digest V4 #147 *****************************
