Words cannot express just how much I love Tara. :) "How's that muscle cramp, Spike? You'd better get some ice on that." One feels that things are finally starting to roll along. But what is up with no new episode next week??? Is UPN giving up on sweeps, in the face of the Olympics? ======================================= Meredith Tarr New Haven, CT USA mailto:meth@smoe.org http://www.smoe.org/meth ======================================= Live At The House O'Muzak House Concert Series http://www.smoe.org/meth/muzak.html ======================================= (: New England Patriots - Super Bowl XXXVI CHAMPIONS :) ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 13 Feb 2002 23:58:18 -0500 From: Dawn Friedman Subject: Re: b/older and far away At 11:36 PM 2/13/2002 -0500, Meredith wrote: >Words cannot express just how much I love Tara. :) I fell *so* hard for her this ep! Aside from just being fun, did anyone else find that Tara's irreverence put Buffy's Spike-angst into sudden perspective? Buffy couldn't deal with being forgiven, but she seems to unthinkingly inhale Tara's calm, casual attitude. She was treating Spike less as a terrible secret shame than as an embarrassment she wasn't quite ready to deal with. Less "over my dead body" and more "maybe next week, if I don't chicken out." She told Tara, and the world didn't (for a change) end. Maybe it's just living after all. OTOH, I am so tired of whiny Dawn I'm starting to wish that Glory had killed her after all. Send FREE Valentine eCards with Yahoo!
