And I agree -- Skip is great. I'm glad they used him again. He's a perfect example of how the ordinary and the extraordinary blend in the Buffyverse. My first reaction was, "Of course it wouldn't affect your soul," but Berni has a good point: unless "demon" is a generic term for "denizen of some non-mundane sphere" with no moral implications, being part-demon ought to make it at least a little harder to be good. And even if there is no moral force field involved, it ought to make it a little harder to be human. Cordelia ought now to be subject to temptations she never experienced before. >I think it's more twist than device. This is *big*. Yeah, but he also said he was honored to have been her guide. I don't think he meant to follow that with, "...you dummy." I'm not sure that completely follows. Was Doyle not good? His demon nature seemed to involve being able to handle the visions, and going all Hellraiser when he sneezed. And that was about it, unless I'm completely misremembering (which is possible - it's been a while). ======================================= Meredith Tarr New Haven, CT USA mailto:meth@smoe.org http://www.smoe.org/meth "an eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind" -- mahatma gandhi ======================================= Live At The House O'Muzak House Concert Series http://www.smoe.org/meth/muzak.html ------------------------------ End of stillpt-digest V4 #5 ***************************
