But I'm surprised noone has commented on what to me was the weakest aspect of the whole episode: the handling of Giles' departure. I for one did =not= find it credible that he would have simply taken off for England under the prevailing circumstances, especially considering Dawn's lack of any parental figure whatsoever, in her life. Also, surely he at least would have foreseen that sooner or later the demons and vamps would discover they were dealing with a mechanical device. I'm not even sure I buy the gang's decision to keep the plan to resurrect Buffy from him. I also disliked the way we suddenly found ourselves at the top of the scaffolding with Dawn and Buffy, with no preliminary depiction whatsoever of either of them deciding and then proceeding to climb up there. - ---Karin ------------------------------ End of stillpt-digest V3 #153 *****************************
