I hope they aren't correct spoilers. I am expecting Joss to dazzle me with the manner of Buffy's return, the way he did with the creation and explanation of Dawn. If these are true, he doesn't. Same-old same-old. On top of which, one of the future-episode spoilers undercuts one of the basic premises of last season, though another spoiler pleases me as showing courage in following through on previous hints, and imagination (though it's far from an unprecedented idea, as I predict people will say it is). Still, the execution of Buffy's return could be good - the execution of her death [pun intended, but ignorable] was excellent, even though I didn't buy the plot or premise - and that quality I am most definitely expecting. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 09 Aug 2001 21:15:01 -0400 From: meredith Subject: Re: A couple of B and A tidbits Hi, David commented: >I hope they aren't correct spoilers. The word is that spoilers have been planted all over the place to keep people guessing, and even though Ain't It Cool News prides itself on getting the inside scoop more often than not, they were also fed a big fat load of you-know-what about the end of last season so I'm hoping the same thing is happening here. ======================================= Meredith Tarr New Haven, CT USA mailto:meth@smoe.org ======================================= ectofest 2001: August 25, 2001 A benefit for RAINN Kenosia Lake Park, Danbury, CT http://www.ectofest.org ------------------------------ End of stillpt-digest V3 #131 *****************************
