It would be neat if Buffy were instrumental in bringing humanity to Angel, but I suspect their fates will remain more separate than that. My current suspicion is that Buffy will somehow make Dawn fully mortal, which I like as an idea, because up until now I'd assumed that Dawn would die at the end of the season, or at least become discarnate and nonhuman.
