No, I don't really think so, but I can imagine such a scenario. Unfortunately, I can imagine such a scenario involving Dawn much more easily. :( allen w. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 25 Apr 2001 10:13:21 -0500 (CDT) From: allenw Subject: Re: "We will bring you the limp and beaten body of Bob Barker!" I'm pretty sure they were all at Xander & Anya's place, and the earrings were near where Anya had been, so I assume they're hers; but what spell would Dawn want to cast on Anya? My original thought was that Dawn is developing a sort of packrat-kleptomania, not uncommon among teenage girls (or so my retail experience suggests), as a reaction to stress and loss. So, where could this lead? Well, if she's in the habit of swiping jewelry from Buffy's friends, I'm expecting her to get D'Hoffmann's (sp?) amulet from Willow, with bad consequences (some of which we might have glimpsed in the previews). Thoughts? Very interesting idea, but not something they'd have time to fool around with this season I think. Wouldn't be the first time we've had foreshadowing well ahead of time, though. Yahoo! Well, according to Xander, Dawn's always had a crush on him. She may want to break up Anya and Xander. She may also be peeved at Anya. Remember last week when Giles was watching Dawn at the store (and Dawn was trying to get to his special book)? To try to interest her, Giles told Dawn he'd let her learn how to run the cash register and Anya immediately felt threatened, which was not the first time in that scene when Anya had made some comment about Dawn doing her job. She takes them off just after Tara finishes the warding spell. Yahoo!
