So we all know the TV Guide spoiler by now, yes? If not, I can post it here (with spoiler space) if anyone's interested. Hilary postulated: >A few possibilities: >1. Buffy must fight Buffyrobot. >2. Spike must destroy Buffyrobot for whatever reason. >3. Glory attacks and destroys Buffyrobot, thinking it's Buffy. Spike vows >revenge and helps the Scooby Gang stop her. ... or, my theory: 4. In the middle of the climactic Final Confrontation with Glory, Buffyrobot appears to distract Buffy at the absolute WORST time. Does anyone else find it a rather odd coincidence that on the same night as a major character dies on _Buffy_, Angel loses his soul again on his own show? Since he was responsible for the last major-character death on _Buffy_, this just kind of struck me... +==========================================================================+ | Meredith Tarr meth@smoe.org | | New Haven, CT USA http://www.smoe.org/~meth | +==========================================================================+ | "things are more beautiful when they're obscure" -- veda hille | | *** TRAJECTORY, the Veda Hille mailing list: *** | | *** http://www.smoe.org/meth/trajectory.html *** | +==========================================================================+ ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 21 Feb 2001 18:43:19 -0800 (PST) From: Todd Huff Subject: RE: b/robotgirl - --- Karin Rabe wrote: > I'm with you, Gayle, I think she's really dead. I have no doubt Joyce is dead, and I think it's clever of Joss to kill her off well after people thought she was in danger from her tumor (the preview leads me to believe it's some aftereffect of it that did her in). >It also seems calculated > to finally bring her > roaring out of the emotional denial mode she's spent > so much time in all > season. She's one of my favorite characters because her relationship with Angel is so complex.
