What's not to buy, though? Sure seems to me it would be unethical to stake a vampire who's incapable of doing harm, since he didn't =choose= to become a vampire! Especially given hall her prior experience with Spike, I wouldn't respect her if she could stake him without compunction, now that he's harmless. After all, she =loved= a vampire who had gotten his soul back, after over a century of commiting every atrocity imaginable! So why not take a "live and let live" azttitude toward one who's been rendered harmless another way?
