Who was she -- the charity woman?? I really must be losing my mind. She showed up in S2 "Lie to Me", the episode where an old friend of Buffy's was a vampire groupie who wanted to be turned because he was dying of brain cancer. She was called "Chantarelle", and she was a fairly passive vampire groupie. Don's right that she met Angel then, but if I remember correctly, it was only in passing, and she didn't know he was a vampire; it's not surprising that neither of them remember it. (The vampire she was talking about in "Blood Money" was Spike. Or Spike and his minions, I guess. :) She then showed up in "Anne", the S3 opener, as "Lily", a runaway whom Buffy helped escape from a runaway-shelter-boss named Ken, who was really a demon abducting runaways as slave labor for a demon dimension. At the end of the episode, the other girl asks Buffy if she can take on the name "Anne", since Buffy wasn't going to be using it anymore. It was neat. I didn't realize it was her until sometime post-teaser, and then I kept expecting her to mention Buffy; on reflection, it's pretty cool that she didn't. - --m. - -- "There's trees in the desert since you moved out. Cool. >She then showed up in "Anne", the S3 opener, as "Lily", a runaway whom >Buffy helped escape from a runaway-shelter-boss named Ken, who was really a >demon abducting runaways as slave labor for a demon dimension. So is that the same shelter, then? >It was neat. But it's a great interweaving of (very) old plotlines. I wonder if she's going to be back? +==========================================================================+ | Meredith Tarr meth@smoe.org | | New Haven, CT USA http://www.smoe.org/~meth | +==========================================================================+ | "things are more beautiful when they're obscure" -- veda hille | | *** TRAJECTORY, the Veda Hille mailing list: *** | | *** http://www.smoe.org/meth/trajectory.html *** | +==========================================================================+ ------------------------------ End of stillpt-digest V3 #13 ****************************
