But so stunning I'm wondering how it's going to be the same series. On the still lamented BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Vincent certainly turned loose his dark side on numerous occasions -- but paid a huge price for it, and showed the self-revulsion about it afterwards that seemed singularly lacking in Angel, in this instance. Of course, he may have a delayed reaction. I suppose it's about the lingering effect of all those "dreams" of Darla, fueling an extraordinary level of rage at W & H's having undone his work of "saving" her soul, and turning her back into the vampire that spawned his own evil history. - ---Karin ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 24 Dec 2000 13:10:52 -0800 From: "Berni Phillips" Subject: Re: b/etbest00 From: "Karin Rabe" > > Yes, well, Glenn Quinn was a regular, too. One possible outcome of this is that Riley will perform in a spectacular manner on this mission, proving to himself that he's still strong even without the enhancement benefits of the chip and without Buffy. He may return with a new purpose and sense of self-worth. Then again, he may get shot down on the first day. Well, I'd feel a lot more sanguine about that outcome if, come next new ep, he's still in the opening credits.
