Or is it significant that we didn't see Tara > at all in this episode? Have we seen Tara and Dawn together yet? This episode was so Jossian...solve one mystery add three more. What is the key? Who was the woman in red? How is Giles going to cope with the store? (ok, they answered that one - who knew Anya had a gift for sales?) Um...What about Naomi??? (sorry, I was temporarily possessed by the ghost of The Electric Company) Oh, I know, what is going on with that intern? Does Willow have her own dorm room, or is she shacked up with Tara? Didn't we see Willow in a single? I thought Buffy living at home was a nice touch...if Joyce believes that she has two daughters she's going to have to send to college, she's probably pinching pennies a bit more. > > >And it's suggestive that Dawn talks about no one knowing the real > >her, and that Buffy's in for a surprise. > > The monk said that Dawn doesn't know who she is, but I'm thinking that's > not entirely accurate. I wonder. Everyone puts so much emphasis on this scene, which I'm inclined to think of as a red herring (so typical of teens her age). Although that may be what Joss wants me to believe. > >I have a feeling we're going to be very annoyed at a week's hiatus for the > >Halloween reruns. > > I'm annoyed, but only because I want to find out how Buffy is going to > handle this with regard to the rest of the gang. I was looking at an episode list for another reason, and noticed that we've only had two Hallowe'en episodes in the last four seasons (2nd and 4th). Although the first season didn't start til after the new year... But it is frustrating...if they were going to skip an episode, why couldn't they skip this week's...I ended up watching my tape after the World Series game was over, so I didn't get to bed last night til after one. > Back to baseball (gods, but I'll be glad when all this sports stuff is over > ... Had my jaw hanging open all during the scene between Buffy and the monk. More when I've had a chance to watch again. Thanks, all, for the episode titles. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 25 Oct 2000 20:03:50 -0400 From: meredith Subject: Re: b/comments10/24 Hi! (spoiler warnings still apply) Hilary responded: >Have we seen Tara and Dawn together yet? Yes. Remember the thumb-wrestling scene outside of the Magic Box a couple weeks ago? >What is the key? A friend of mine dismissed this as a cheap _Fifth Element_ rip-off. I don't agree, though there is a similarity there. >Who was the woman in red? Ain't It Cool News has postulated that she's the Antichrist (hence the involvement of the monks). Sounds like a good theory to me. >Oh, I know, what is going on with that intern?
