  I agree with that, and that is why, even though I felt that that two-parter 
was, taken by itself, perhaps the strongest part of last season, I was 
nevertheless disappointed by it because the most important thematic threads 
that had been laid down (both before and during the episode) were left mostly 
undeveloped.
