Looks authentic. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * The casting call is now on for 'Dawn', the new series regular on the show starting next season. The description out to casting agents is for a fair hair/eyed 10-15 year old Caucasian girl whose basically a "nice, vulnerable kid" most of the time and a real pain at others. Intriguingly the character is occasionally supposed to go into "a kind of trance during which dark forces speak through her" which scares her and makes her sometimes irrationally suspicious. She admires and bickers with Buffy, and considers Xander "the coolest man alive". So if you're out there and think you can do it, send resumes in to Mutant Enemy Productions ASAP. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! An homage to VR.5 (Anthony Head's previous short lived series). (Don, if you want to play with dream imagery, you might check this out - I think all of the episodes are out on video now). >> I emphatically second this recommendation. VR.5 (if you didn't catch it on Fox) was a series about a young woman who discovers the power to enter into other people's subconsciouses and wander around amid their dream imagery. She is pressed into service by a covert group called The Committee (represented by ASH) to use this power to spy on people via their dream imagery. It was actually much more complicated than that, and with a very sharply angled story arc that makes it necessary to view the episodes in order (there are only 13). For anyone who loves to analyze dream imagery, VR.5 would be the ultimate feast. This was one show that demanded complete, intense attention and active thought from the viewer, which I think doomed it from the outset.
