The show had Dar Williams as an opener and Shawn took the stage about 5:10pm. Since it was an early show and Callie was wide awake, Shawn told her she could spend as much time as she wanted on stage, and Callie took her up on the offer. We even got a couple of songs from Callie. It was kind of amazing to see Shawn play and sing and deal with Callie dancing around her, grabbing her arms and legs, patting her butt, trying to fingerpick while Shawn was playing, talking, etc. Definite multitasking. The amazing thing is that it never really got annoying. They have a great relationship and while there were some interruptions, Shawn mostly stayed on track and no one complained. For those of you in Southern California, Callie informed us that they're spending tomorrow (Monday) at Disneyland. Oh, she was introduced by Rosalie, a dj at KFOG. Rosalie said that KFOG's relationship with Shawn went back 10 years - that's when Shawn did her first private concert for them.
