I too just saw Patty Griffin in Chicago where she gave a wonderful, moving
show.  She must be channeling some old souls when she writes her songs...

While reading all these recent postings and thinking about it, I remembered
where I first saw Patty... she opened for Shawn at the Chicago Theater
about 4 years ago (which was, incidently, the best show I think I've seen
Shawn give despite the fact that we were surrounded by drunks who were
interfering with our enjoyment of the music.)  Kismet?
