I usually ask very general questions with a few expletives: Do you have a favorite children's book that you read to Callie? Where the Sidewalk Ends? Miss Spider's Tea Party? What are some of your favorite foods? Italian? Japanese? Otherwise, asking vague questions that will encourage more 'conversation' are good: If you could sing with anyone in the world, living or dead, who would it be? Also, I believe questions that anyone would like to answer are always good. I know Shawn has a fondness for NYC so I asked MANY about the city: Where in NYC do you like to shop? I think it's important to have good punctuation and grammar (although how important depends on the moderator), and to be respectful. Oh how I wanted to ask about some 'non-pc' things, but I knew they wouldn't get answered... (i.e. smoking and running a triathlon, lingerie, etc...). Hope this helps! At least you got to the chat. I missed it because of the timezone confusion. I am very bad at this and I felt so fed up the whole day. Btw, there doesn't seem to have any transcripts! How come??
