I'm pretty sure about the chords, but I'm not too sure about the key - I wrote it down in G, even though she seems to play it in F. G is a more convenient key for the guitar. Maybe she strung her guitar down a couple of half-steps or something. And, if the chords don't come out aligned with the words, put it into Notepad, which has fixed-width spacing. Anyway here it is: Whole New You Intro: G D C D G D C D G D C G D C G D C G You have the right to D C Get down on your knees G D C And you have the right to D C Make yourself believe Em C But you don't know what --- Em C But I don't care, you can do it G D C E 'Cause you have the right to Chorus: Am D Shade the loneliness and shine the light G C Am Take all your tears and save them for a rainy night D Go and wish on every star that's falling G Csus4 C G D C Shake your head and wonder when it's all too good to be true D G D C Like a whole new you G D C So don't lose your way G D C Oh, you can do no wrong Bm Am And don't spend your days D C Just trying to be strong Em C And you don't know your name D Em C You know, it's OK, you can do it G D C E 'Cause you have the right to Chorus: Am D Shade the loneliness and shine the light G C Am Take all your tears and save them for a rainy night D Go and wish on every star that's falling G Csus4 C G D C Shake your head and wonder when it's all too good to be true G D C Like a whole new you G D C It's too good to be true F Like a whole new you Bridge (parallel minor): E-flat F E-flat Gm F E-flat D C Am D Shade the loneliness and shine the light G C Am Take all your tears and save them for a rainy night D Go and wish on every star that's falling G Shake your head and wonder C Am Shake your head and wonder, baby D Go and wish on every star that's falling G Csus4 C G D C Shake your head and wonder when it's all too good to be true G D C Like a whole new you G D C It's too good to be true G Like a whole new you D C G D C G D C G D C G D C G D C G D C G F E-flat D G Lisaagf@aol.com wrote: > Hey Everyone, > > I was just telling one of my office mates that a lot of you had been hearing > or downloading the new song and loving it, and we then got into a discussion > about how nowadays when you know there's a new song out you can get it right > off Napster, vs. the "old" days where you had to keep your ear to a radio and > then hope to tape it when it was played. > > Which led me to want to mention to YOU that, even though Shawn's singles are > more easily accesible now, it still helps a LOT if you call (or email!) your > local radio station to request it.
