Subject: [s-r] Out of the Blue thoughts....

...pulled out the ol' "Cover Girl" cd from the collection today and played it 
over and over.  It's just so brilliant.....probably the best cover cd ever.  
There are others I really love...like Emmylou and Linda's "Western Wall" 
CD....and many others....but to me Shawn's "Cover Girl" is in a league of 
it's own.  Hearing it again reminded me of just how great Shawn is ....that 
voice...that guitar...that knack for picking a cover and making it her own.  
I was just really impressed all over again.  I guess I have been listening to 
a lot of music lately...and some real "good stuff".....but hadn't listened to 
anything "Shawn" in a while.  So when Shawn's "Cover Girl" starting 
playing....her voice/guitar just cut through everything else I'd been 
hearing...reminding me of why I've always had her on that sky-high pedestal.  
Feel like I kinda had a listening tune-up or sound therapy or something.  
Whatever...It was nice to revisit.
